Charles ‘Skip’ William Bruce South Beaver Township Charles “Skip” William Bruce, 74, of South Beaver Twp., passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday afternoon, April 4, 2018. Born December 9, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was a son of the late James H. and Gloria Bruce and had been a resident of South Beaver Twp. his entire life. Skip had retired in 2011 from Rochester Machine Corporation, New Brighton. An avid car collector, he enjoyed going to the local car shows and was a member of the Beaver Falls Turners. He also was formerly active with the Chippewa Indians Football Organization where he had once served as president. Gone too soon, Skip was a soulful man with many interests, talents, and hobbies. He will be profoundly missed. He is survived by his wife of nearly 35 years, Karen Davonport Bruce; a daughter and son-in-law, Heather M. Bruce and Christopher Mitrecic, Chippewa; two sons, Scott H. Bruce, Patterson, and Jeremy W. Bruce, Huntington Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Jeff (Sherry) Bruce, South Beaver, and Brad Bruce, Palm Coast, Fla.; three grandchildren, Zack, Sydney, and Sophia Mitrecic; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved “Shep.” Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3994 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001.

My condolences to skip's family for his recent passing. Bless him & rest in peace. So sorry to hear of another classmate passing ! May you re.ember all the wonderful times you spent with him. GOD BLESS!!
