We are very sorry to inform you that Gary Smith passed away on Monday, October 25 due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease. Gary battled this disease, a movement disorder for twenty years. His health worsened this year and he moved to a long-term care facility in The Villages, Florida where he and his wife, Barbara live.

Barb and Gary attended the Beaver Falls High School mini-reunion that was held in March 2021 in Florida.

Gary began his school career in Chippewa Township where he spent 8 years before moving on to Beaver Falls High School as a member of the Class of 1961.

Gary is survived by his wife Barb, his sons Jon and Jeffery, and his mother. 

Gary was a fun-loving guy who was a good friend to many. He will be greatly missed.

We will share Gary's obituary with you when it is received. Funeral arrangements will be finalized and shared at a later date. Gary has requested that his ashes be spread at their hunting camp in the Pennsylvania mountains.
