LUGER  BERNARD J. JR
Bernard J. Luger, Jr., 63 of Chippewa Twp. passed away June 28 in his home. Born December 12, 1942, in Beaver Falls. He was the son of the late Bernard J. Luger, Sr. and the late Ruth Gould Luger;. he was the owner of Peter J. Luger & Sons Meat Processing Plant; publisher of the Town Planner Calendars. He was a member of Christ The Divine Teacher Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Allegheny County. He was a past president of both the Pennsylvania Meat Packers Assoc. and the Blackhawk Business Assoc, and he served in the Marine Corps. Reserves. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Dolores "Pinky" Markusic Luger, a son and daughter-in-law, Bernard J. Luger III and his wife Nancy K., Florence Montana; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Peter Lim, Brooklyn NY; two grandchildren, Bernard J. Luger IV, Florence, Montana, and Jeffrey J. Lim Brooklyn, NY; and a sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Burton Johnson of Salt Lake City, UT; Big Brothers of Allegheny Co "Little Brother" Jim Williams, Pgh. Friends will be received Friday from 6 until 9 pm in CAMPBELL'S Chippewa Funeral Home, www.campbellfuneralhomes.com, 2619 Darlington Rd. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat. 11 am. in Christ The Divine Teacher Catholic Church with his pastor, Fr. Robert Franco as Celebrant. Private interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa Twp. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Big Brothers and Big sisters of Beaver County 426 Adams St. Rochester, PA 15074
