Gretchen and I rode the same school bus our last two years at Beaver Falls.  I remember most clearly her ready smile and sharp wit.  I probably would have asked her out at some point, but understanding that her father was my dad's boss at B&W, and aware of my advanced stage of foot-in-mouth disease, my cost-benefit analysis led me to conclude that playing poker with the guys was a much less risky social option.

I remember her well, since her gradparents  lived across the street from us on College Hill and i met her before she moved to BeaverFalls when she came to visit her grandparents. She was always a very sweet girl, and I also worked for her dad at B&W. My condolences go out to her family.

Was sorry to learn of the death of Gretchen.  I remember her as always being pleasant with a charm and wit to her personality.  I don't remember the last time I saw her, but think it was at Friendship Ridge where she worked at one time.  My sympathy to her family and friends.
