Sandra Porter Morgan, 79 passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, after battling cancer for many years. Sandra was born on Friday, June 11, 1943, and was a 1961 graduate of Beaver Falls High School.

Sandra was a very giving and loving person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Tabitha Rose Morris, who was her adopted granddaughter/daughter called Sandra, Nana. She shared that Nana helped raise her when she didn’t have to. All of the time, money, and energy that Nana shared with me were gifts that I am thankful for and blessed to have received. I was her Tabby, Rosie Posie, and Mowgli.

I am sorry that her beautiful soul had to endure and overcome cancer after cancer over all of those years. God knew that she could handle it and used her story to help others.

I am thankful for the time we had together, and the milestones Sandra was present for. She made sure I ate breakfast every day when I was pregnant and postpartum. I could see how much she enjoyed watching me be a mommy. We’ve been through so much together, recalling all of those times is difficult. You went to Heaven during a beautiful sunset after all of the rain we had this week. As sad as I am without you here, I know your pain is gone.

You will be forever missed, Nana. I love you ❤️Tabitha Rose Morris

Sandy's younger sister, Kim Porter Small also had a message to share.

Most of you know that Sandra Lee Porter Morgan won her race with a "Well done" from her Lord, on Sunday, August 21, at 9:33 PM Alaska time. Sandra's family in Alaska is honoring her wishes by having a time of sharing with a meal and fellowship, on Friday, September 2.

Our family will be honoring Sandra here in Pennsylvania on Friday, September 2, from 5 to 7 PM, at the Beaver Assembly of God, 500 Dutch Ridge Road.

We would love to have you come and be part of celebrating Sandy's life.

Please let family and friends who we may have missed know about this service and time of sharing for Sandra.

Sandy & I have long history of each other. We both went to Patterson twp school from1st grade through 9th grade and all through our years as BFHS. we also went together to Ambridge Practical nursing school and graduated in the same class. We dated & married cousins. Sandy moved from BF to Colorado and then relocated to Wasilla, Alaska when raised her 4 children & granddaughter, tabatha which she loved so much. Her husband unfortunately died in his 50s yet she was a wonderful mother and grandparent.
I loved her for her faith, love and most of all empathetic person even having had cancer for at least half of live, never complained nor told people.
I only wish to her God's lovely cradle her for all the wonderful things and Christian love she had in her heart.
May she rest in peace with loving husband, Ed, Edward Morgan, forever. I sincerely wish her family my deepest sympathy and love with memories always be of a great love one.

We all will miss Sandie, an inspiration to all. Our computer does not allow certain letters so I will be limited. Sandie will be pain free and rewards will be forever.  We will see Sandie in our future.

Tabitha Rose Morris wrote a beautiful tribute to her "Nana".   That was the Sandy that I knew from our high school days.   Tabitha couldn't have described her better.
