William George Fubio, 79, of Beaver, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Bill was born on Thursday, March 25, 1943, in Beaver Falls, Pa., and is a 1961 graduate of Beaver Falls High School. He is the son of the late Richard “Sig” and Ann Muoio Fubio and is a member of Saint Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, in Beaver, Pa.

Bill worked at J & L Steel before becoming a barber, working in both Beaver and Hopewell. Bill owned and was the sole barber at Fubio's Barber Shop in Beaver, Pa.

Bill was known as “Pappy Bill” and he will be remembered most for his huge heart, the sports memorabilia in his barber shop, and his love for antique cars ( 1958 Chevrolet pictured below). Bill was a founding member of the Happy Days Car Cruise Club.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Patricia L. Fubio in 2018; an infant son, Brian David Fubio in 1974; and his sister-in-law, Barbra Fubio.

William is survived by a son, Michael Fubio, of Beaver; daughters, Shelly (Kevin) Boring, of Beaver, Pilar (Ed) Rodgers, of Darlington, Alisa (Mike) Devich, of Jefferson, Georgia; a daughter-in-law, Sheri Fubio; a brother, Richard Fubio; a brother-in-law, Kenneth (Kimiko) Curran, of Texas; and grandchildren, Tiffany Vollmer, Kevin (Lauren) Boring, Devan (Jarred) Stratton, Caylinne (Will) Knight, Michael (Kaitlyn) Fubio, Joseph Fubio, Damian Fubio, Kaia Fubio, Allison, Michael, Delaney Devich; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Vivian Fubio, Mason and Ella Vollmer, Lucas, Maximus, and Scarlett Knight, and Maeve Stratton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, Pa.

A Blessing Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 10 am. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.

Interment will follow in the Beaver Cemetery, where Bill will be with his wife, Patricia.

Sandra Fubio (Fleck)

Bill, his brother Rich and I grew up together in side-by-side houses on Fourth Ave until we each married and moved away.  We continued to see each other over the years whenever my husband (Richard Fleck) and I visited Pennsylvania.  Living so close, and having no other siblings, we  were nearly like brothers and sister as youngsters. I have fond memories of that time. We send our condolences to everyone who love Bill
