Chester L. “Chet” Chirichetti, 67, of Beaver Falls, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born July 28, 1942, in Beaver Falls, a son of the late Aladino “Al” and Rose Marie Casanta Chirichetti. He retired as a captain from the Beaver Falls Fire Dept. after serving 20 years. Chet also worked for market day and A.P.I. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nancy Brown Chirichetti; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kevin Chirichetti, Erie, Pa.; Christopher and Melissa Chirichetti, Beaver Falls, and Jason and Amy Chirichetti, San Diego, CA. Pappy will be sadly missed by his two grandchildren, Jenna and Christopher Chirichetti. He is also survived by one sister, Elaine Kompa, Chippewa Township, and two nephews, Paul and Billy Kompa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Frances and George Brown and a brother-in-law, Bill Kompa.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the LUTTON BEAVER FALLS FUNERAL HOME, 1117 Fifth Ave., www.luttonfuneralhome.com. Pastor David Alleman will officiate.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Members of the Veteran’s Honor Guard are asked to meet at the cemetery at 11:30 a.m. to conduct full military honors.
