William R. Partington, 75 of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Eastvale, Beaver Falls, passed on March 5, 2018. He was born February 23, 1943, in Newton Falls, OH, son of the late Emmet and Bertha (Steiner) Partington. He was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School and attended St. Paul Bible College in Minnesota. William was a genuine “people person” which assisted him in becoming an outstanding retail sales and store manager for Payless Shoes. A number of years ago he ventured out west to make his home in Phoenix. In his leisure, he loved to travel. William was a person of faith and former member of the Beaver Falls Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and was an active member of Youth for Christ.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Partington and sister: Doris Curry. William is survived by five sisters and two brothers-in-law: V. Ruth Duncan, Cambridge Village, Beaver Falls; Evelyn M. Barkey, Beaver Meadows, Beaver; Rosaline Murray, Beaver Falls; Betty (James) Langnecker, Virginia Beach, VA; and Mary (William) Challis, Ellwood City; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; also his very dear friend of over twenty-five years: Michael, Phoenix, AZ.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the SAUL-GABUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum) with Pastor Phil Conklin, officiating.
